My experience covers nearly 32 years in the field of ENT surgery-16 years as consultant ENT surgeon with Bahrain Defence Force Hospital, ENT surgeon to H.H.the king of Bahrain and the Royal family and 9 years as ENT surgeon in various NHS hospitals in UK. From April 2004- onwards, worked as Head of Department, Sree Uthradom Thirunal Hospital, Pattom Trivandrum, Kerala, India. Now continue my job as visiting Consultant at S.U.T hospital and Part time consultant Jubilee Memorial Hospital, Trivandrum, which is a Christian charitable hospital.

  • Coblator (Arthrocare®) surgery for Snoring and OSA, Tonsillectomy,Allergic Rhinitis etc. since 2009
  • Setting up a Sleep Lab and Cochlear implant centre-ongoing

  • Conducted a double blind comparison study of Fluticasone Propionate and Placebo in the treatment of Perennial Rhinitis in Bahrain (Clinical Trial 1991-1992).
  • Conducted an evaluation of the efficacy and safety of oral Sumatriptan (Imigran) in the treatment of Acute Migrane (Clinical Trial 1991-92).
  • Researched on Otomycosis in Bahrain from April 1987 - March 1988.
  • Researched Post-Laryngectomy Aphonia at Royal Surrey County Hospital, Guildford (1982 – 1983)
  • Presented several clinical papers at various conferences
