Tantric science is being misquoted with the occult, vulgar sex and other religious dogma. Those who don’t understand it properly label it as some mystical occult thing, and unholy thing. Many people still consider tantra to be full of obscenities and unfit for people of good taste. It is also often accused of being a kind of black magic.
If you learn it from from the “right” source or person, you will understand it what it means. When you learn it in depth you will understand it as it is pure medical science. It is all related with our Autonomic nervous system and brain. All the chakras are nothing but nervous plexus on either side of the spinal cord. It is not mystery anymore.
Within the brain, the autonomic nervous system regulates and adjusts baseline body function . It consists of two -sympathetic and parasympathetic the sympathetic is ergo tropic that is releases energy, and the parasympathetic is trophotropic, that is conserving energy.
Tantric science has been one of the most neglected branches of Indian spiritual studies despite the considerable number of texts devoted to this practice, which dates back to centuries.
The Meaning of Tantra
The word “tantra” is derived from the combination of two words “tattva” and “mantra”. “Tattva” means the science of cosmic principles, while “mantra” refers to the science of mystic sound and vibrations.
The Tantric approach to Life
This path is systematic and comprehensive. The profound science and practices pertaining to hatha yoga, raja yoga, pranayama, mudras, rituals, kundalini yoga, mantra, mandala, for generating worldly and spiritual prosperity blend perfectly in the tantrik disciplines.
Tantric Art.
I learned the basics of Tantric science from the masters of Tantra vidya peedam at north kerala in early 70s.Since then I have been an ardent student of Tantric science, Tantric medicine and Tantric art. I conducted an exhibition of few tantric paintings in the school of fine art Trivandrum in 1976.It was inaugurated by very renowned Tantri Mr. Bhattathirippadu.
My humble request to these who read this, please understand it without prejudice, it’s not about vulgar sex or occult. After coming to renewal about 15 years ago, I could understand more what the blessed Lord meant and got better insight into the realm of Holy spirit working.
People who are carnal, primitive in their ladder of existence will think it is otherwise and use it for making money or self indulgence. Just pray for them, may the Spirit of the Lord open their eyes. God bless.
