Cosmetic Rhinoplasty
Rhinoplasty is a type of cosmetic surgery that is performed in order to reshape the nose. Although rhinoplasty is most often sought for cosmetic reasons, it can also help correct structural defects that may cause breathing problems by performing septoplasty.
External (open)Rhinoplasty is a very popular procedure that can make profound differences not only in the balance of facial features, but also in a person’s self-esteem. The aesthetic improvements that a Rhinoplasty surgeon can make include decreasing or increasing the size of the nose, altering the tip or bridge of the nose, and narrowing or changing the shape of the nostrils. The nasal septal deformities also can be dealt with an open approach. This operation corrects unaesthetic characteristics in noses that are too long or too big, bulbous, with a hump or with a ‘hanging’ tip. It narrows the nostrils, if they are too wide. It corrects deformities such as those acquired as a result of accidents.
By modifying the size and shape of the nose it gives the person more pleasant look. It also harmonizes ones nose and show off a really proportionate face.

i had a septoplasty recently but after another consultation i was told my bony septum is still deviated. some cartilage was removed. my nasal bones are off center also due to trauma years ago. the left nasal bone is fractured inward while the right nasal bone is fractured outward. septum deviated to the right. can you reset the nasal bones back to normal and correct bony deviation in the same surgery? also is it possible to replace missing cartilage with a rib graft? thanks fitz
