Laser septoplasty is a minor procedure in which small septal deviations are corrected by Laser beam.The advantages are it can be done under local anesthesia as a day case procedure. It is performed in selected cases like septal spur and mild to moderate DNS.For major deviations, traditional septoplasty is better and the only answer.
It sounds nice, but has only limited role in nasal surgery.
