People develop hoarseness voice from many reasons, from vocal abuse by misusing their vocal cords to allergies to cancer. Voice disorder is any of a group of problems involving abnormal pitch, loudness or quality of the sounds produced by the larynx. After a period conservative treatment, if the voice is not improving, the larynx should be examined. If any nodules or polyps, it should be removed.
