Where is Jubilee Hospital in Palayam, Trivandrum city?
Opposite VJT hall, next to the Saphalyam complex, there is meads lane which ends in Jubilee Memorial Hospital. Major landmarks in Palayam include the Victoria Jubilee Town Hall (VJT Hall), Martyr’s Column, University College Library, Fine Arts College, State Central Library, Chandrasekhran Nair Stadium and University of Kerala. Also located at Palayam, is the new building where the Legislative Assembly of Kerala meets. A new underpass is constructed to ease the traffic congestion at Palayam and surrounding areas.
Religious Confluence
At Palayam, the famous St. Joseph’s Cathedral, Juma Masjid and a Ganapathy temple are situated very close to each another, a rare example of communal harmony. The mosque and the temple share the same wall. The, St Joseph’s Cathedral or Palayam Palli, Palayam Juma Masjid and a temple dedicated to Lord Ganesh are situated close to each other. The mosque and a temple are side by side, with their compound walls touching each other. The co-existence of these three centers of worship of different religions is quite unique and is a standing example of the religious tolerance and harmony in the state.
Today hundreds of devotees offer prayers to the temple, especially on Thursdays. The Friday prayers at the mosque are attended by a fairly high number of people. There is everyday Holy Mass at the Church; it’s really a spiritual capital.
The Connemara Market in Palayam, established two centuries ago, is visited by a large number of residents of Trivandrum to buy household items.

Distance from-From Bus Station and Railway station 1 km, from the international airport 5 km, and from Kovalam beach-10kms.
Where to Stay in Trivandrum- Many budget hotels and restaurants are available near the Railway station. Also there are 5 Star Hotels like Muscat Hotel and South Park Hotel are only walking distance from the hospital.
