Try an online private video/voice consultation with ENT Surgeon – Dr. K. O. Paulose, FRCS DLO. All you need is a computer, a fast internet connection and a Skype account.

During the online consultation, you will have the opportunity to present your health concerns and the history of your present health as well as the results of any existing laboratory or diagnostic reports.

How to get started:

1. Make sure you have at least a microphone (either installed on your computer or buy one separately) and a webcam.
2. Make sure you have a reliable internet connection speed – ideally above 200 kbps. Test your speed.
3. Make sure you have the free video/voice chat software Skype installed on your PC / Mac. For any technical help setting up Skype, please click here.

How to book a private online video / voice consultation:

1. Prepay and book a 30 minute (USD 40) consultation. To book more time, change the ‘quantity’ on the order page to the number of 30 minute sessions you require. You can pay securely online with your Credit Card or PayPal.
2. Wait for a confirmation email with details of the consultation date, time and other instructions.
3. After the consultation session, I’ll provide you with a downloadable version of our conversation for your records – incase you want to listen to it later on.

What are the benefits?

1. You get to speak one-on-one with a professional licensed doctor.
2. You can ask any question and have it clarified clearly or get a second opinion.
3. You save on travel (road, rail or air) and other incidental costs, not to mention time.

What are the drawbacks?

1. Due to the nature of web-based consultations, there are limitations such as not being able to diagnose without a physical examination. As a result, online consultations will be limited to recommendations or suggestions for treatment options and second opinions only. To overcome such a limitation, I would highly recommend fixing a physical appointment with my office at Jubilee Hospital.
2. The cost might not be covered by your insurer and I will not deal with your insurer to facilitate any claims. However, I will provide you with a receipt for your records.
3. To ensure that your scheduled appointment time is reserved for you, I ask that my 24 hour notification policy be respected. Once you are charged, you cannot qualify for a refund.
